18/12/2007 - Lee Offord takes the Cambridge Cup for the 3rd time. Lee won this event in 2003,2005 and now again in 2007.

- Sam Kelly winner of the Angora Cup, Sam spends many hours on the putting green and all his practice finally pays off. Well done Sam.
- PRESIDENTS PUTTER

- Chris King & Bob Coll beat Terry Livesey & John Kent in an exciting final in the presidents putter. All 4 looked very tired walking back down the 1st in semi darkness after a gruelling 37 holes. Thanks to the referee Tony Zendle.

- Keith Gay was awarded the Coombe Wood Man of The Year 2007. This is awarded to the man the Captain feels has cintributed most to the club. Richly deserved Keith, congratulations.

- A presentation day was held for some of our major trophy winners. Thanks to Current Captain Michael Church, past Captain Bernard McGowan(The one holding the pint)and Ladies Captain Brid Hancock for an enjoyable afternoon.

- Sean Gay and Dudley Stebbings receiving the Isaac Cup. Keith Gay was reported to have remarked "It was the son that won it"

- Sean needed no help from Dudley in winning the Frank Cocker Cup scratch event with a great score of 69 beating Joe Blake & Peter Munro who also finished wth the same score.
- PAGET CUP

- Gary Hastings put in 2 great rounds to finish the 36 holes on 125 (7 under par). The first round 58 should have been enough to blow the field away. John Hughes with a first round 57 and Klas Anderson gave Gary something to think about finishing on 126 & 128 respectively.
