The Coombe Wood Golf Club covers 67 acres of the historic Coombe Estate located in Kingston-upon-Thames, London.
Its first Captain was A.J. Balfour in 1904 - the then Prime Minister. Its course is famed for seven challenging Par 3's complemented by tree lined Par 4's with blind tee shots and heavily bunkered greens.
The key to play this tight and often difficult course is to always ensure careful positioning of tee shots. One of the best exponents of this in recent years has been honorary member and 2004 English Amateur Champion now turned professional James Heath.
Whatever your standard of golf you will always receive a warm greeting at Coombe Wood. The friendliest members club in Surrey.
